The Problem
Knowing where you
want to go will not get you there. The
effective implementation of strategy is one of
the most difficult tasks faced by many organisations.
The Oxford English Dictionary defines “Organisation”
as a systematic arrangement or approach. No strategy
will succeed without an organisation to implement
it. But “What exactly do we organise and how do
we organise it?” is the question most firms have
not answered. Information, communication, teamwork,
forecasting, prioritisation and resource allocation
frequently fall victim to the day-to-day pressures
of the business and progress slows or stops. |
